This workshop will introduce a range of creative apps that can help mitigate known barriers to literacy learning for children and young people from Gypsy/Traveller communities. We will discuss the benefits of multimodal media, the use of accessibility tools across devices as well as strategies to help parents with low literacy support their children’s literacy learning.
