Literacy top tips

Author, playwright and storyteller Richard O’Neill (MBE) shares insights into the value of education. Richard comes from a traditionally nomadic background travelling across the North of England and Scotland. Richard shares strategies and top tips for children and young people from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller communities to build more confidence and skills as readers, writers and storytellers. Teachers can use these videos in classroom activities with settled pupils and pupils from nomadic communities to share and create stories together.
