F is for famels

The Traveller Alphabet Book

QUESTIONS

The artist Jo Waterhouse has created this beautiful illustration of famels. Can you tell how she has created the illustration?

Do you like the purple background?

Do you like the colour of the nails?

Can you imagine what the illustration would look like if the background was a different colour like grey?

ACTIVITIES

Make your own famels picture

You will need:

  • 2 pieces of paper
  • scissors
  • colouring pens, pencils or paints

Cover one piece of paper in a colour that you want to use for the hands. Place each hand on to of the paper and draw round your hands. Cut your hand shapes out.
Create a background by colouring the second sheet. Or you could make a bright pattern.

Glue the hands on top.

Send a photograph of your famels picture to STEP HERE and we will share it with other families.
