The Traveller Alphabet Book
ABOUT NEIGHBOURS
Neighbours are the folk we live near to. Neighbours can live in the house next door or they can have the pitch beside you on a camp or on a site.
Neighbours are important to Travellers. They can be relatives or they can become good friends. Neighbours are respectful of each other and often help each other out and share things.
QUESTIONS
Do you have neighbours where you live?
Are you able to help each other out? In what ways?
Do you have fun together?
What do you think makes a great neighbour?
Would you miss your neighbour if you moved away? Why?
ACTIVITIES
Imagine you have to shift away to another part of Scotland. Write a letter to your old neighbour.
Tell them all about the new place where you are living and tell them what you miss about when you lived beside them being their neighbour.
