ABOUT Weaving Baskets

Many people from travelling communities have been making baskets for generations. Weaving baskets is a traditional skill. Baskets are created using flexible, soft wood that can be found near camps. Baskets came in all shapes and sizes and were sold in markets or by the roadside.
