STEP & Trails of Tales book Publishing Project: Creative workshop 2

This creative publishing project brings together two internationally acclaimed professional artists, an award-winning author, and a university committed to inclusive literacy, working alongside children from Pledge schools across Scotland to publish a new picture book that centres on authentic representation of culture and identity. This online launch introduces the creative team, the story, the publishing journey,
and the first creative task. All schools can follow the journey online.

Led by Richard O’Neill (MBE), a sixth generation master storyteller and author from the Romani tradition, in partnership with children’s book illustrator Michelle Russell, and renowned Scottish Traveller artist and activist Shamus McPhee.
