Delighted to be part of Scottish Government’s #GRTHM2025 event at Dynamic Earth Edinburgh celebrating Scotland’s Gypsy Traveller & Roma community. Seven organisations contributed to the event with information stalls and interactive activities: MECOPP, STEP, Article 12, Romano Lav, Ando Glaso, Community Renewal Trust and The Space.
The day included speeches by Ms Stewart, Minister for Equalities (@kaukabstewart.bsky.social) and Councillor Maureen Chalmers, Convention of Scottish Local Authorities’ (COSLA) Spokesperson for Community Wellbeing, (@CllrChalmersSNP #culture #equity #education #Gypsy #Traveller #Roma #RepresentationMatters) and wonderful musical performance by Ando Glaso and Romani language taster session by Romano Lav.
